The Kleinschmidts were living with a dated design in their master bathroom a lot longer than they had planned. Original builder series oak cabinets, cultured marble and brass finishes brought a lackluster aura to the living space. In addition, the location of the linen cabinet so close to the door opening eliminated much of its functionality.
Beautiful travertine floor in shades of off-white, gray and brown, Diamond Cherry Chocolate vanity cabinets with bunt feet, an off-white, slight-sparkle Silestone countertop and a rich faux travertine porcelain for the walls completed the new design.
After removing the original linen cabinet and widening the doorway, we removed the bathtub and shower combo and replaced it with a new larger shower and dressing area. The shower and wall tile were cut into 6"x18" strips and run in a subway pattern vertically around the room. A "picture frame" design added interested to the shower floor.
